Shots and Angles
Close-up shots
A close-up shot tightly frames the subject’s face in order to focus on their emotions. These types of shots are great to connect with the audience, as there are no elements distracting them from the subject’s gestures and reactions.
Mid Shots
The medium shot is used to reveal more details on the subject, capturing them from the waist up. As it includes the subject’s hands and part of their surroundings, it’s the best way to capture actions in detail, while maintaining a general view. This is why the medium shot is one of the most popular types of shots.
Two shot
A two shot is a shot that shows two subjects in the same frame. Filmmakers use the two shot to show the emotions and reactions of two people in a scene
High Angle Shot
A high-angle shot is a technique where the camera looks down on the character or subject from an elevated perspective.
A wide shot also called a long or full shot is a shot that shows the subject within their surroundings.
Shooting Experience
The shooting experience in my opinion was actually really amazing. We tried a lot of things we never had. Things did get hectic in between and there were a lot of ups and downs but i can confidently say that we overcame all the problems that we faced and had an amazing and fun time during the shoot. The actors were amazing and did exactly what was told and my teammates also helped a lot. Things such as shoot timings and location changes were quite difficult to get everyone to agree upon as everyone had their issues but in the end we all came together and worked really hard to pull this off. Compared to the preliminary task I believe that we did really better with the camera work and learned new things by having new experiences. Hopefully this will turn out to be a good product, fingers crossed.
